E&L Airsoft is a new quality on the airsoft replicas market. The manufacturer made it its mission to create replicas that will stand on the same level as the original live firearms when it comes to the quality of materials used and the tightness of parts. The company went as far as one possibly can and started production in the same factory that produces the original firearms! The same materials were used in the production process as those used in the original specimens: the steel, handmade wooden elements or high quality polymer. Also, some external elements are identical to those in live firearms and come from the same transmission belt.

This allowed E&L to move to the top among the eastern manufacturers. It can compete (and prevail!) with the best brands on the market – also when it comes to price range. The quality and parameters of its replicas allow for their products to serve as both ornaments on a wall and an effective replica on the battlefield.

On the outside, as many elements as possible were made in a 1:1 scale in accordance with the original and military specification. That means parts can be swapped with parts from the original firearm! Including: front cradle, gas block cover, gas pipe, iron sights and cleaning rod. Not many other manufacturers offer such a feature.

Steel elements have been blued, which makes their appearance more realistic, furthermore, as time goes on and the layer of protective finish gets worn off it will still make for a far better visual effect than in the case of painted and lacquered replicas. The only external element made from aluminium is the 22mm RIS handguard, which serves as a base for attachment of a variety of additional accessories.

Strides to preserve realism were also made on the plane of weight. The replica is heavy and, in addition, proper balance is maintained via a steel outer barrel. Worth to note is also the fact that the replica, like the original, can be partially disassembled without any tools. Everything is based on pins and levers. The manufacturer took care of smallest details in order to make the replica resemble the original as closely as possible.

Both the handguard and the gas block cover were made from black polymer. Also the stock with a metal pad has been made from the same material. It is a fixed, foldable to the left side of the body, stock.

On the left side is, characteristic for this design, “dovetail” side mounting rail. A base for all dedicated optical sights (also the original ones, meant for live firearm) and RIS mounts for any other optics.

Taken straight from the box, the replica is secured in a polymer, protective packaging. Both the inside of the packaging and the replica itself are covered in a thick, technical oil that safeguards the product from humidity and possible contamination during transport. A mixture of oil, steel and lacquered wood emits a unique smell, well-known to people in constant contact with firearms.

The insides of the product are also remarkable. E&L engineers have taken the best solutions on the market and added their own. A reinforced GB ver.3 is powered by a High Torque engine based on neodymium magnets. An interesting and thought through bearing construction – two of the initial gears are mounted on ball bearings, while the piston gear is mounted on a plain bearing. On the one hand this allows for operation with decreased wheel resistance, which make the most turns. On the other hand it minimalizes the risk of breakdown of piston gear, which is subjected to the largest gravity load.

The piston lacks the top slide along the majority of its length, which in a very small degree influences the stability of operation, but greatly decreases friction. Both of the aforementioned solutions result in smoother operation, greater ROF and smaller energy consumption. The battery is stored under the cover of the chamber. The cover is mounted on a single latch and a hinge, which allows for rapid disassembly and exchange of power supply at any moment.

The pneumatic system consists of a set of silent piston head and a cylinder, which increases the system’s longevity through better amortization. The spring slide has bearings and the piston gear has a bigger inhibitor. It gives the BB more time to be inserted in the chamber, which is of great importance in the case of high rate of fire configurations. High accuracy and focus is guaranteed by an equipped internal, precision barrel with a diameter of 6,04 mm.

The care for details is also noticeable in a handmade, individual quality certificate. It comes with every replica and contains a serial number, name and seal approved quality assurance of: internal parts, functionality and package contents. Included in the box is also a table showing results of 5 consecutive shots on a chronograph, measured in both meters per second and in joules.

The replica comes with a polymer, mid-cap magazine with a capacity of up to 150 BBs.

What are characterizes version 2.0?

The replicas are delivered in brand new, practical and elegant boxes. Boxes feature a thick foam padding on the inside, which surely and safely secures the replica and all accessories. E&L next generation replicas have increased muzzle velocity and the gearbox skeleton as well as improved hop-up chamber were made in matt, black colour. Each set includes an oiler, however, fixed stock models include the exact same cleaning kit as the one meant for live firearm.
